Get into the Thanksgiving spirit with this delicious turkey salad. And to use up those leftovers, toss in some of last night’s bird for a tasty post-Thanksgiving meal.
Makes 4 servings
1 head romaine lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
½ cup (125 mL) turkey breast baked or smoked, diced
¼ cup (50 mL) artichoke hearts, drained & sliced
¼ cup (50 mL) sundried tomatoes, drained & sliced
½ cup (125 mL) provolone, cut into ¼ inch pieces
¼ medium red onion, thinly sliced
¼ cup (50 mL) basil, washed and thinly sliced
Newman’s Own® Family Recipe Italian Dressing, as desired
1. CUT provolone into ¼ inch cubes. Place in bowl and toss with Newman’s Own® Family Recipe Italian Dressing; let sit for up to 24 hours.
2. PLACE romaine on a large platter and scatter with marinated provolone, diced turkey, and artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, red onion and basil. Drizzle Newman’s Own® Family Recipe Italian Dressing over salad and serve.
